Senior Game Systems Engineer

Join Believer's team as a Senior Game Systems Engineer for our flagship game. Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to implement core game systems and development workflows in Unreal Engine. Guide essential engineering efforts that are critical to building a fun, performant gaming experience for players. You will report directly into the Director of Game Engineering.

What you'll do:

• Design and develop core game systems and features in Unreal Engine 5, enhancing performance and quality for players

• Collaborate with the team to create efficient production workflows and development tools, elevating content iteration and quality to unprecedented levels

• Push the boundaries of open-world development and digital distribution across multiple platforms (Console, PC, Mobile)

• Create and contribute to engineering best practices, development processes and coding standards

• Be an active voice in identifying technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks

You are a great fit if:

• 5+ years experience working on C++ game development

• Experience with Unreal and modern game engines, digital content creation tool, and their development pipelines

• Experience working on live service-based game and/or cross platform game development and deployment

What we offer:

Annual salary range: $157,000-$238,000
