Job Summary:


As a Software Engineering Intern at Teledyne Controls, you will work side-by-side with senior software engineers developing and testing software for use on commercial aircraft networking and software parts management systems.  You will learn a variety of avionics communication protocols that are used across Airbus and Boeing aircraft and work on serial data physical layer compliance, serial data testing, power analysis, and more. You will set up lab tests, manage software configurations, and develop software test requirements and test procedures.  This internship will expose you to a wide variety of software debugging, code updates, and regression tests that will put your academic experience to the ultimate test!  

Requirements:

  • Engineering student working towards Bachelor’s or Masters in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum of two years of college credits

  • GPA 3.0 and above is highly preferred.

  • Use, some working knowledge of Python

  • Have a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms

  • Ability to write test procedures and work instructions

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  • The individual must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

  • Must be able to work onsite, full time during Summer 2024

  • Must be a US Person due to ITAR restrictions

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Programming knowledge in C/C++, Matlab

  • Experience in test equipment automation

  • Knowledge of PC operating systems and PC system hardware components

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Salary Range:

$49,830.00-$66,550.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
