The opportunity
The Lead Generation Intern is enthusiastic, headstrong, and persuasive! You have communication and sales tactics that aid you in overcoming obstacles on the phone and discovering new opportunities in direct conversations with potential leads for our clients. You're passionate about what you do and comfortable pushing through the 'No's and driving a call forward. If you have experience in outbound calling for lead generation, event registration, appointment setting, collections, or fundraising OR are looking to gain this experience, this role is for you.
What you'll do
- Perform B2B telemarketing efforts on behalf of our clients, identifying qualified leads for their campaigns
- Learn and use customized scripts, articulating the technical and business benefits of our client’s products/services
- Build rapport with potential leads to gather information
- Develop and maintain daily plans to maximize phone interaction time
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned goals by the expected date
- Analyze our scripts and processes, listen to calls, and find innovative solutions to help programs run more efficiently
Who you are
- Must be available full-time from Monday, May 13th to Friday, August 9th.
- Experience in telemarketing, sales, or similar role preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication
