Our route planning subcluster is developing rapidly and for this reason we will create two new DevOps teams. They will be tasked with building a modern platform for route planning for our delivery staff. We rely on a modern microservice architecture and also use machine learning to calculate the most efficient and optimal routes for the deliverers based on data.

Description of the main tasks

−  You will be part of a Scrum DevOps team and work together with Java developers, machine learning engineers, business analysts and UX specialists.

−  Right from the start, you will be able to help design a new solution that will ensure the optimal planning of parcel and letter carriers.

−  You use current technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes and Angular.

− Together with your team, you are responsible for producing high-quality and tested code and achieving the sprint goals.

−  You like to learn from other know-how carriers and are happy to share your knowledge.

Education 

−  You have a degree from a university or university of applied sciences with a focus on software development or comparable practical experience.

Professional experience/expertise

− You also have at least 3 years of experience in the development of Java applications, know Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka and are familiar with the concept of microservices.

− You are familiar with RESTful APIs and Swagger.

−Your high quality standards make you shudder at code that has been commented out, code without unit tests and pushes into the master branch without review.

− In the past, you have already worked in a Scrum team, you know the methodology and you see yourself as a team player.

Social skills and characteristics
− You are a committed, initiative personality and convince with a high level of teamwork and
communication skills

Language skills
− English spoken and written
