Scope of the Role 

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with a deep understanding of cloud computing AI, experienced in managing clusters, and is proficient in inference mechanisms. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Kubernetes, Slurm, and Go programming, with a passion for solving complex problems and driving technological advancements.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, and manage our cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

- Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters to support our AI applications and services.

- Utilize Slurm for efficient job scheduling and resource management across our computational clusters.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of our AI models and services.

- Collaborate with the AI development team to optimize inference performance and resource utilization.

- Ensure high availability and performance of our cloud services, conducting regular system evaluations and implementing improvements.

- Stay abreast of the latest developments in cloud computing, AI, and related technologies, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Solid experience with Kubernetes and Slurm in a production environment.

- Proficient in Go programming, with a strong understanding of system and network programming.

- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing scalable cloud-native applications.

- Knowledge of AI model deployment and inference optimization.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
