Senior PHP Engineer

We're seeking a Senior PHP Engineer to join our Connectors team at Supermetrics! 

The team:

The Connectors group works with different group-wide initiatives spanning connectors, aiming to improve our and our customers' abilities to get data from different sources and improve usage experience. In other words, the core of what we do!

You'll join the team Connectors A, which maintains a set of coded connectors that use API integrations to deliver huge amounts of data to our clients. You'll be responsible for maintaining the connectors within the team's domain, including Meta connectors (Facebook Ads, Instagram Insights, etc.), TikTok Ads, Shopify, Youtube, and many others. 

In this role, you'll:

• Deliver new features to existing connectors
• Maintain existing features
• Work on some of the most important products in the company
• Participate in code reviews
• Mentor other team members
• Improving systems monitoring and alerting
• Utilizing existing monitoring tools to ensure system stability

This role is for you if you have:

• 5+ years of back-end experience in a similar role using PHP
• Experience working with API integrations
• Ability to conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing 
• Good understanding of architecture & software design
• Good grasp of the software testing discipline
• Understanding of security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Fluent communication in English
• Ability to give effective feedback

Nice to have skills: 

• Understanding of monitoring tools and ability to interpret monitoring data. This includes tools such as Datadog, OpenSearch, etc., which are used to track application performance and system metrics.
