Senior Fullstack Software Engineer / Online Payments

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer in the Online Payments Tribe, you’ll be part of the team supporting SumUp’s Business growth by providing a scalable, secure and global Online Payments Platform which will facilitate all Card not Present (CNP) transactions - meeting the Online Payments needs of our customers and enabling them to grow! 

We are building our platform using the latest technology and we want you to help us raise the bar and drive these changes.

Our mission is to provide a flexible and easy-to-integrate billing platform that powers the growing number of SumUp’s subscription services. We enable SumUp merchants and business partners to offer recurring payment solutions for their businesses together with SumUp’s online payment platform. 

You will be

• building a secure drop-in (widget) solution for online subscriptions
• working on UI features within the Merchant’s Dashboard to support the needs of subscriptions
• creating and maintaining APIs to enable recurring payments
• supporting the expansion of our subscription service to new markets
• creating solutions for engineers integrating with SumUp’s online payments offering
• working with your peers & colleagues, product managers and engineering managers to understand the challenge, to design a solution and deliver it

You have

• 5+ years of experience
• Experience with Node.js / JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with React
• Have worked with NoSQL storages
• DevOps culture (we build it, we run it)
• You have worked with agile methodologies, CI / CD, and in Pair Programming 
• You have a mature and business minded approach to your work
• You have a passion for clean, maintainable, and testable code

You would be great for this role if you have experience

• Experience with micro frontends
• Familiar with Terraform
• Experience with AWS services
