Role Summary

What you'll get to do

• Build compelling visuals and artwork that align to our brand and engage users.
• Innovate and help improve our current visual expression, information heiarchies, and digitial experiences to showcase our software, and build immersive storytelling moments.
• Build and guide the design execution for web layouts, artwork, animation, video, banners, and interactive experiences across web properties, email, and developing foundational UI libraries.
• Update and refine our current web design system and component libraries
• Work across scrum teams to simultaneously service multiple key initiatives and projects
• Develop digital design guidelines, templates, and components for internal and external use
• Align and coordinate with the larger brand and creative team to maintain a unified brand expression.
• Work closely with product design, development, and engineering teams to build, QA, and launch projects
• Share an understanding of standard methodologies with team members, stakeholders, and partners to constantly improve our creative output.
• Flex to help other design teams with a variety of design work and campaigns.

Must-have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in art, design, or associated field
• Minimum 8-12 years of graphic design, creative direction, and web production experience working on a large SaaS/Tech brand either in-house or agency
• Passion for excellent brand experiences and experience creating these experiences at a world-class level.
• Thrives in a team environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously
• A love of design and creativity, excited to find ways to bring our brand to life across a variety of experiences.
• An advanced knowledge of the latest design products including Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
• Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• A solid understanding of asset creation, social media design, digital advertising, email, landing pages, motion graphics, digital storytelling, and interactive web experiences.
• A portfolio of work examples that show amazing design experience, skillset, and abilities.

Note: 

Base Pay Range 

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area 

Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year 

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts 

Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year 

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area. 

Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year 

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
