Job Summary

The Planning & Initiatives Project Manager creates project plans, sets the scope and timeline of commercial projects, and gathers business requirements from impacted stakeholders. This role is also responsible for facilitating project meetings and presenting to Leadership. The Planning & Initiatives Project Manager is a strong communicator with a continuous improvement mindset who is excited to apply an in-depth knowledge of Revenue Management to influence decisions and problem solving.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.

Responsibilities
  • Confer with project Stakeholders to identify and resolve problems
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project Stakeholders
  • Lead and facilitate project meetings and presentations to Leadership
  • Monitor or track project milestones and deliverance's and communicate status
  • Define and drive complex program plans for multiple, simultaneous, related projects or for a single highly complex project
  • Develop and update project plans including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing
  • Document and maintain strategic vision for future Revenue Management capabilities
  • Establish and execute a project communication plan
  • Identify impediments and potential solutions; challenges the status quo to improve quality, predictability, flow, and velocity
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; highly proficient in presentation development
  • Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events)
  • Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules
  • Ability to shift back and forth between two or more activities or sources of information and has ability to prioritize own work

Education

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:

    • Microsoft Office Applications

    • Project Management software tools, methodologies and best practices

Licensing/Certification

  • N/A

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time

  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Other Qualifications

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $102,500 - $113,900 per year * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the

discretion of the company.
