We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Cumulocity IoT Edge product delivered as a Kubernetes Operator and CI/CD pipelines. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the team to optimize processes and ensure smooth and efficient delivery of Edge.

This role will drive our mission by enabling the seamless integration and deployment of our cutting-edge IoT solutions. You will report to the Head of Engineering and work within a dynamic team focused on innovation and excellence. Key stakeholders include product managers, software developers, and operations teams.

Essential Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain a Kubernetes Operator for installing Cumulocity IoT Edge.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Flow/Runners.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.

• Monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure high availability and performance.

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

• Expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD practices.

• Proficiency in Golang and/or Rust.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

Nice to Haves:

• Certification in Kubernetes (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator).

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).

• Knowledge of networking concepts and microservices architecture.
