We are looking for a Team Lead NLP Engineer to join our new product, TheOne.AI.

TheOne.AI will be a web platform and mobile application featuring various AI characters with unique personalities, temperaments, backstories, and external data. We aim to create a unique and highly realistic communication experience, similar to how you build relationships in a dating app or social network. We are confident that our expertise in online communication and strong team will help us create a competitive product. Our goal is to make our model as human-like and empathetic as possible, ensuring that interacting with it feels natural and effortless.

Your main tasks will be:

• AI-Bot Development: Lead the creation and enhancement of an AI-bot for effective user communication on the theone.ai platform, ensuring it aligns with the latest NLP technologies. Ensure the highest quality of AI-bot interactions and functionality, overseeing the development of testing strategies and continuous evaluation of product metrics for optimization. Establish an automated data annotation system for continuous improvement of models with a focus on efficiency and accuracy;
• Architecture Roadmap: Responsible for the architectural roadmap, designing scalable and robust system architecture that supports evolving project needs;
• Business to Technical Translation: Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team, ensuring clear metrics and a well-defined ‘Definition of Done’ are established;
• Process Optimization: Innovate and implement operational processes to maximize team efficiency and project delivery.

We expect from you:

• System design:
  • Experience and knowledge in building dialog systems end-to-end
    • Data;
    • Benchmarking and Evaluation;
    • Approach selection;
    • Aligning with business metrics / needs.
• Modeling:
  • Well acquainted with modern LLM's and tuning methods;
  • Ability to make modifications to the architecture / losses, etc., as needed.
• General skills:
  • Awareness of modern research in the field of Conversational AI, NLP in general;
  • Strong knowledge of Pytorch, Python;
  • Skill in setting tasks and managing a team.
