Senior ML Python Engineer

We're looking for a talented and motivated Python Developer to join our Product  team working currently in the NLP/Document Understanding field. In this role, you will apply your software development or ML Engineer skills to help the team productize new complex NLP/ML models. You will also be responsible for improving the process of creating the production-ready software responsible for training and prediction of the NLP/ML models. 

AS A SENIOR ML PYTHON ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:

 - Think creatively to find optimal solutions to our complex, often unstructured & ambiguous problems

 - Support the Product  team in all stages of developing new SOTA models from NLP/Document Understanding domain 

 - Provide technical support to the rest of the engineers in the team 

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 - 5+ years experience writing production quality scalable code using Python

 - BS/MS in a technical field (AI/ML, CS, DS, Physics, Math, etc), 

 - Experience in building SDKs / RESTful web service APIs

 - Experience with software engineering best practices (programming, testing, version control, CI/CD, docker/Kubernetes, agile development, etc)

 - High levels of curiosity and eager enthusiasm for open-ended problems

 Proven experience in building products in a large organization with many dependencies

- Experience and interest in problem formulation based on relatively abstract information

- Ability to articulate results and complex concepts to leadership

 - Must be able to produce solutions independently in an organized manner, work in a team and also be able to lead and develop  others  when required

 - Working with ML libraries such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn, pandas, etc., will be a strong asset.
