About The Role We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer who’ll be responsible for the development of home automation software on the Behaviors team. Our team is responsible for the Rule & Scene capabilities of the SmartThings platform, used by millions of users daily.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Design and develop high quality software - primarily in Java & Kotlin programming languages
Serve as a technical leader on projects, working closely with Cloud teams to solve challenging problems and develop new features
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
Lead technical discussions with key stakeholders (engineering, product, etc.)
Participate in cross-functional design discussions and code reviews

Compensation for this role for a candidate based in Minneapolis is expected to be between $128,148 and $192,222
