About The Team
Our primary goal is to support the SmartThings mobile application, as well as other initiatives across the company. Working in a fast-paced environment, we collaborate with cloud and mobile engineers to implement new features and maintain a secure and stable application experience for our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement new features in existing mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Triage, debug and resolve software issues found in the mobile applications
- Lead and innovate in projects that are not fully defined and influence direction as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other mobile engineers from around the world to create simple and scalable solutions for new features and improvements to existing functionality.
- Write clean code and follow best practices with excellent test automation coverage.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement/strategy within team area, and clearly communicate action plans across teams and cultures
- Participate in peer code reviews and scrums.
- Mentor other engineers and provide direction to more junior members of the team.
- Work within established infrastructure and quickly become familiar with SmartThings’ tools and systems.

Compensation for this role for a candidate based in Minneapolis is expected to be between $108,743 and $157,677
