MoreCommerce is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their Bucharest, Romania team.  As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for the development, configuration and deployment of our on-premise and cloud infrastructure. You’ll have access to a lot of technologies and you’ll be able to make important technical decisions, collaborate with other engineers, and ensure the scalability and performance of our applications and infrastructure. You can switch from one technology to another and you will develop your knowledge in many directions. What You Will Do

• Work with the Development team to implement and maintain infrastructure and deployment pipeline required to enable multiple ecommerce applications with 99.9% uptime

• Manage and administrate infrastructure in both AliCloud, AWS and in hosted data centers 

• Contribute to application and site architecture

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using teamcity

• Maintain application security on both internal infrastructure and WAF via Cloudflare

• Review and resolve production issues with tools like Nagios, ELK, and graylog

• Verify and actively drive infrastructure performance

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the Cloud infrastructure and operations

• Provide on-call support for production e-commerce web applications

Desired Skills and Experience

Who You Are

• You are an expert in Windows Server, services, IIS

• Some Experience in Linux (CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu)

• Experienced with network administration, load balancers (F5/BigIP) and managed switches

• Infrastructure as Code experience is a must (chef, puppet, vagrant, terraform)

• Well organized with clear, effective communication skills

• You have experience with Hyperconverged infrastructure, like Nutanix 

• Working experience with Microsoft SQL Server experience a plus

• Proficiency in more than one scripting languages (e.g. Powershell, Ruby, Bash)

• Strong expertise in build deploy tools such as MSBuild

• Experience with Jira is also a plus

• A self-starter able to handle the prioritization of multiple projects and tasks under time-bound deadlines

• Strong communication skills. We’re moving fast and you’re expected to be able to reliably keep all internal and external parties up to date

• Collaborative in nature, with a willingness to learn and coach

• Sharp, motivated, driven, yet humble

• BSc in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience and certifications
