MoreCommerce is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their Bucharest, Romania team.  As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for the configuration, deployment and support of our AWS cloud infrastructure. You’ll have access to a lot of technologies and you’ll be able to make important technical decisions, collaborate with other engineers, and ensure the scalability and performance of our applications and infrastructure. You can switch from one technology to another and you will develop your knowledge in many directions. What You Will Do

• Work with the Development team to implement and maintain infrastructure required to enable multiple ecommerce applications with 99.9% uptime

• Manage and administer infrastructure in both AWS, Alibaba Cloud and in hosted data centers 

• Contribute to application and site architecture

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CircleCI and Jenkins

• Maintain application security on both internal infrastructure and WAF via Cloudflare

• Review and resolve production issues with AWS tooling

• Verify and actively drive infrastructure performance

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the Cloud infrastructure and operations

• Provide on-call support for production e-commerce web applications

Desired Skills and Experience

Who You Are

• You are an expert in AWS Cloud Infrastructure management 

• Some Experience in Linux (CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu)

• Infrastructure as Code experience is a must (chef, puppet, vagrant, terraform)

• Experience with Kubernetes pods and clusters in AWS

• Working experience with AWS S3, EC2, ECS, ElasticCache, OpenSearch, and other AWS technologies used to support a high performance ecommerce application

• Well organized with clear, effective communication skills

• Experience with Hyperconverged infrastructure, like Nutanix, a plus

• Working experience with Amazon Aurora MySQL RDS 

• Proficiency in more than one scripting languages (e.g.  Ruby, Bash)

• Strong expertise in build deploy tools

• Experience with Jira and GitHub is also a plus

• A self-starter able to handle the prioritization of multiple projects and tasks under time-bound deadlines

• Strong communication skills. We’re moving fast and you’re expected to be able to reliably keep all internal and external parties up to date

• Collaborative in nature, with a willingness to learn and coach

• Sharp, motivated, driven, yet humble

• BSc in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience and certifications
