Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Baseline Program Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
  • Available to commit full-time from May 2025 - August 2025
  • Location: Troy, MI or Costa Mesa, CA in a hybrid working environment
  • Graduating no earlier than December 2025

  • Business Enablement & Solution Engineering Intern

  • As a Business Enablement & Solution Engineering Summer Intern you will be working with Senior Solution Engineers in the Siemens Digital Industries Software Division.  Siemens Manufacturing Software applications will be the area of focus.  Mainly targeting Planning and Simulation software from a customer solution perspective.  The development program will offer valuable insight into manufacturing industries through the lens of Siemens software.


Responsibilities:

  • Build a story board around implementing Siemens Manufacturing Software into a company’s Planning and Simulation groups
  • Familiarize yourself with Siemens Product Lifecycle Management enterprise solution Teamcenter, Manufacturing Software, and Process Simulate
  • Learning data translation and acquisition techniques to bring customer data into a Teamcenter environment
  • Model a Process Plan to build an existing customer product
  • Further define and validate the process plan using simulation techniques developing the Digital Twin
  • Showcase the results selling how moving to Siemens Software Solutions can enable the customer to move faster and generate greater efficiency

Qualifications/Characteristics:

  • Be able to learn in a self-paced manner
  • Competent with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of CAD design tools like NX, Catia, AutoCAD is a plus
  • Work effectively in a Team environment
  • Be able to analyze complex scenarios and have critical thinking skills
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
