Software Engineering Manager

We are continuously expanding the capabilities of SentinelOne, actively listening to customers and responding to their needs.  We are looking for an Engineering Manager for the cloud R&D division. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a track record of hiring, leading, and retaining a world-class engineering team.

What will you do?

• Lead and manage a team of cloud security analysts to develop and maintain policies for our Cloud Native Security product, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of the cloud graph visualization, providing insights into cloud asset relationships and dependencies.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline processes and enhance the scalability and efficiency of the product.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer success, to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud security threats and trends, incorporating new techniques and technologies into the product roadmap.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. 

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) or DevOps role, with some experience in cloud security.
• 2+ years of prior experience in leading the team of SRE or DevOps role
• Extensive hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including proficiency in Kubernetes, serverless computing, networking, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Helm.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, best practices, and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Proven track record of leading teams and driving successful outcomes in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and innovate in response to evolving threats and challenges.
