Based in Changzhou / China, you will report to a team leader in Shanghai. At a high level, your duties will require to provide Systems and Software expertise and support Sensata’s customers. There will also be elements of engineering development associated with the role.

General Responsibilities
•    Collaborates within a cross functional team 
•    Working closely with customer technical and project personnel
•    Organizes both external and internal stakeholder requirements for new products / features / technology developments 
•    Key participant for system specifications and formalized representations of solutions (for example, flow charts, models) to develop systems that meet customer needs
•    Working closely with internal Sensata sub system design teams to refine implementation of products / features / technologies & specifications to ensure they meet stakeholder’s needs

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capturing customer requirements and managing within a requirements management tool, in partnership with Antrim team
• Negotiate requirements with the customer to reduce development time and keep abreast of latest Sensata roadmap and exploit this during the negotiation
• Analyze the customer requirements and develop functional requirement for low level software development and be able to effectively communicate this to customers and potential ECU partners
• Perform the system integration and system performance testing

Understanding of mechanical design considerations to be able to review with customers and negotiate. Understanding of validation considerations to be able to review with customers and negotiate

• Troubleshooting on vehicle level or production level
  •  Experience and/or willingness to learn how to use a spectrum analyzer is mandatory
  •  Apply knowledge of wireless communication system

• Provide onsite assistance at customer production sites, specifically to troubleshoot calibration and diagnostic procedures at customer EOL
• Periodic translation of specifications and test reports between English / Chinese is a requirement

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or above on electronic or related major;

• Experienced at CAN/LIN communication protocol and testing/simulation tools is preferred;

• Experienced at the application of on vehicle wireless system such as TPMS/RKE/PEPS is preferred;

• Basic knowledge of ISO26262 is preferred;

• Knowledge or experience software engineering standard such as CMMI/APICE is preferred;

• Good communication and negotiation skills;

• Good team worker and willing to travel.

• Good English in both speaking and writing.
