Hardware Engineering Intern

As a Hardware Engineering Intern, you will assist a hardware team that is responsible for developing and maintaining the hardware platforms for products.

A typical day as a Hardware Engineering Intern might include:

• Supporting hardware circuit design which involves using CAD tools for analysis and simulation as well as prototyping in the hardware lab.

• Testing and debug of circuits in the hardware lab.

• Product sustaining activities such as selection and qualification of alternate components.

• General collaboration with a hardware team.

This job might be for you if:

• You are currently enrolled in a college or university majoring in Electrical Engineering

• You are able to work part time during the school year and/or full time during the summer.

• You have working knowledge of lab equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

• You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

• You have an ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

• You have a strong desire to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

• You have background check results satisfactory to SEL.

• You have negative drug test result(s).
