We're looking for a brilliant Android developer to join our team to contribute meaningful work and bring ideas and solutions to our mobile on-demand delivery business. You will be responsible for maintaining and refreshing existing Android applications, as well as creating new apps.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain e-commerce applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Support our existing Android applications and bring them up to date with current technology and updated designs
- Continuously suggest new ideas and improvements
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Experience working with third party libraries and API
- Ability to function well as an independent contributor, given requirement and design specifications
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment and a passion for creating great experiences
- Great communication skills and personality. Be able to work collaboratively with team and communicate proactively
- Ability to see problems outside of an engineer's mindset -- we build our platform for our customers after all.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Minimum 3 years in Android development experience
