Front Office Technology function supports the producers (Traders and Sales) of the Rates and Credit of the Bank. This individual will be key in development of new and existing systems (such as a whole loan product launch) as well as other bank initiatives. We will be using a well-developed /mature ecosystem combining Ion and a large base of integration tools with a large base of java code.) Candidate will need to be capable of developing rest API and low latency trading infrastructure with ownership of deliverables from receiving requirements to working with QA and UAT. Candidate will need to support and extend existing codebase in a fast pasted agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with existing FOD (Front Office Development /java team) and ISA (Integration & Software Architecture) teams
• Create code for integration between systems.
• Current project need is Integration of ION and external systems as part of Whole loan initiative.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in CS or other hard science discipline is preferred.
• Fixed income experience strongly preferred, especially on bond analytics, treasury notes and futures.
• Strong Java experience, continuous integration
• Strong Java server-side programming skills
• Development experience Spring framework, Camel, REST
• SQL skills: Postgres, Sybase, Snowflake
• ION development experience.
• Familiar with build/delivery tools (Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, Puppet)
• Familiar with messaging systems LBM, Light streamer, MQ
• Familiar with FIX and other market protocols
• Familiar with AWS
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic, and entrepreneurial work environment.
• Strong teamwork skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proactive; self-motivated and goal oriented.

For NYC Job Applicants: The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range: $99,000-$175,000. For hourly positions (non-exempt) the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may be based on skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications, and location.
