WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a DevOps Engineer, your mission will be to contribute to the transformation and continuous evolution of the platforms that supports the Business line.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline our operations and processes.

• Ensure that deployment and integration processes are carried out with high levels of efficiency, predictability, quality, and security.

• Develop and maintain monitoring solutions that help detect and resolve infrastructure problems before they affect business services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.

• Provide Observability as a service to facilitate Application and Infrastructure functional and technical monitoring and centralized logging.

• Develop automations around public cloud services (mainly AWS) to manage infrastructure, software and operations in the public cloud.

• Production problem solving and coordination with development team to speed up time to recovery (log aggregation, SLAs, E2E monitoring, alerting).

• Code analysis at a quality and Security perspective to allow development teams granting a continuous improvement culture.

• Collaborate with all team members to improve engineering excellence, systems, procedures and data security.

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in IT.

• 2+ years of experience in Technical/High availability Solutions/Application Architecture.

• 2+ years of experience in event-oriented architectures working with Kafka.

• Fluent in English and desirable in Spanish.
   

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
   

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), proficient in using infrastructure as code technologies (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate the management and provisioning of infrastructure.

• Scripting and programming skills, ability to write scripts in languages such as Python, Java to automate routine tasks and integrate systems.

• Networking knowledge, understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, and DNS.

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, skilled in continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies using tools like Jenkins, Github Actions.

• Containerization and orchestration, experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.

• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration, experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and scripting languages like Shell.

• Experience with AWS Cloud services (EKS, MSK, API Gateway, EC2).

• Monitoring tools, experience in using monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, Micrometer.

• Problem-solving skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive mindset to anticipate and solve problems before they escalate.
