Senior Engineer (Multiple Openings)

Role and Responsibilities

Specific Job Duties: Develop significant deliverables for the GPU IP team. Develop a world-class graphics targeting brand new Samsung GPU architecture. Implement standard features and extensions for API's like OpenCL, Open GL ES and Vulkan. Participate in driver infrastructure architecture with a focus on power and performance requirements. Develop driver techniques that optimize real-time rendering pipelines and make them run faster. Work closely with the compiler team to exploit a framework that encapsulates driver/complier interaction and complier strategies. Collaborate with GPU architects to drive GPU features support from SW and review SW/HW interfaces.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Requires 12 months of experience involving the following:
1.            Real-time rendering;
2.            Neural graphics/Neural rendering;
3.            GPU training/validation/inference;
4.            Graphics pipeline;
5.            Machine learning/deep learning/computer vision;
6.            Forward rendering/Inverse rendering;
7.            Profiling models and optimizations; and
8.            Debugging failures, characterization, root cause analysis.

Total Rewards

At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $185,024 and $205,024. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
