SambaNova is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our team that is building our Enterprise grade MLOps platform, SambaNova’s flagship offering Dataflow-as-a-Service^TM.

This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI & the value it can unlock across every aspect of an organization’s business & operations, including the ability to train & run state-of-the-art large Foundations Models to churn enormous amounts of data & provide game changing predictions for their business. 

This is a high-visibility position which will be part of the team that is building our cloud agnostic MLOps DaaS platform from scratch. DaaS enables customers to use Foundational Models without worrying about the complexity of underlying software & hardware infrastructure. This person will be working cross-functionally across product, ML & support teams to build & maintain Sambanova’s flagship enterprise grade ML Ops platform.

Responsibilities

• Own & be accountable for the design & development of multiple features in the high performance computing system, processing large amounts of data.
• Pay extra attention to non-functional requirements (Performance, Scalability, Reliability, High Availability)
• Partner with leaders from architecture, engineering management, & product management on project requirements, designs, & development plans
• Keep product quality top of mind by creating automated tests for the software that you help create & helping in code reviews.
• Work in an Agile environment & follow scrum practices to deliver high quality software in a timely manner.
• Achieve a deep knowledge of our product architecture, usage patterns, & real-world deployment scenarios to develop an understanding of which solutions will bring value to our customers.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• 8-12 years of software engineering experience focused on Enterprise grade application & platform development.
• Hands-on experience in building & managing Kubernetes clusters & its components.
• Strong fundamentals of Algorithms & OOPS concepts with expertise in one or more of these programming languages: Python, GoLang, Java, NodeJS.
• DevOps or MLOps development experience will be a plus
• Experience of Cloud infra management, Data lake management, Auth Integrations, Cloud storage integrations (S3, GCP, ABS etc), Security hardening will be a plus.
