Salesforce Inc. seeks Systems Engineering Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Serve as a subject-matter expert in cloud software engineering and architecture with a focus on automation and create software automation processes to deliver infrastructure at cloud scale in multiple substrates. Build scalable, reliable, and efficient mechanisms required to meet the rapidly increasing demand for Infrastructure delivery in multiple substrates. Provide effective strategies for data collection, establish rational metrics and create a plan to analyze and report on relevant business drivers and KPIs, and will create tools to deploy and manage IAC pipelines for public cloud infrastructure deployments, driving metrics through these tools. Promote a metrics-based software development culture of quality, collaboration, rapid delivery, and drive and deliver thin slices of the functionality on a regular cadence with data-driven feedback loops in an agile environment. Manage large, complex systems in cloud-based infrastructure and resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance. Create, maintain and share technical documentation used by engineers and other team members. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/systems analysis or four (4) years of experience in the job offered. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Golang; (3) AWS; (4) SOQL; (5) Linux; (6) SAQL; (7) Salesforce APIs; (8) Shell; and (9) Redhat. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $181,272 to $227,700.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $181,272 to $227,700.

For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $181,272 to $227,700.
