Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering MTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Develop back-end website applications. Develop front end website user interactions. Create database entity for functionality. Ensure responsiveness of applications. Work alongside graphic designers for web design features. See through a project from conception to finished product. Design and develop APIs. Meet both technical and consumer needs. Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages such as Java, Python, Typescript, SQL etc. Work on AWS to create serverless modules, maintaining data pipelines and adding new features. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Ruby; (2) Apache Spark; (3) Python (programming language); (4) Terraform; (5) Scala; (6) Java; (7) AWS; (8) SQL; and (9) HTML. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $215,197 to $216,197.
