Salesforce Inc.  seeks Software Engineering LMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Run services in Cloud environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure. Experience with high Performance, Traffic, and Availability Architectures with a target SLA of 99.9% or higher. Monitor datasets such as logs, metrics, and traces. Experience in customer onboarding and support. Undergo unit testing, configuration management, and release management. Understanding of Agile development methodology and Test-Driven Development. Experience with commercial monitoring offerings such as Splunk, Newrelic, Datadog, and Sumologic. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco:  350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street, and 500 Howard Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum  Requirements:  Master’s  degree  (or  its  foreign  degree  equivalent)  in  Computer  Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software  engineering/program  analysis  or  two  (2)  years  of  experience  in  the  job  offered  OR  Bachelor’s degree  (or  its  foreign  degree  equivalent)  in  Computer  Science,  Engineering  (any  field),  or  a  related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.

  

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special  Skill  Requirements:  (1)  Object  Oriented  Design;  (2)  Design  Patterns;  (3)  Memory  profiling  &  Optimizations; (4) Agile Methodologies; (5) Protobuf; (6) Tomcat; (7) JSON;  (8)  MongoDB;  (9)  REST  API Design  &    Development;  (10)  High  scale  distributed  systems  and  data  pipelines  (2  years);  (11)  High Performance,  Traffic,  and  Availability  Architectures  (2  years).  Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.  Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $215,197 to $265,200.
