Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineer LMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Plan, develop, and implement innovative and simplified user interfaces, as well as a virtualized platform for developing cloud-based applications, and a system infrastructure that supports the storage and processing of mission critical data. Deliver a scalable, high performance cloud computing platform emphasizing Salesforce’s significant platform technologies. Evaluate, formulate, and implement improved computer algorithms for the development of platform and software application features. Test and review software code. Design and develop software features and software development platforms for use within client companies and for integration with social media websites. ^HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 415 Mission Street, 350 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the field of software engineering or one (1) year of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skills: (1) Machine learning; (2) Deep Learning; (3) Natural Language Processing; (4) Data structures and algorithms; (5) SQL; (6) Python; (7) Java; (8) Information retrieval; (9) Sequence modeling; and (10) Statistical modeling. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $215,197 to $265,200.
