CYBERSECURITY PROJECT MANAGER

SailPoint’s Cybersecurity organization is searching for a highly motivated Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our team of skilled security professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of cybersecurity projects, from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all security requirements.

This role reports directly to the Manager of the Cybersecurity Program Management Office and is fully remote.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the execution of cross-functional and cross organizational project activities from project scoping and requirements building, establishment of project milestones, and development of project plans.
• Facilitates scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews.
• Removes impediments that hinder the team’s progress.
• Establish measurable and achievable goals for all initiatives.
• Manage planning and execution of all projects to ensure that cost, time, and quality goals are met.
• Coordinate and conduct periodic stakeholder meetings to ensure status clarity and clear expectations.
• Enable project teams to drive results
• Report and carefully track project status, metrics, roadblocks and alert key stakeholders to risks.
• Report and escalate to management issues that jeopardize projects.
• Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvements via project reviews, lessons learned gathering, and root cause analysis.
• Interact with all levels of company employees throughout project coordination, including senior management.

Requirements/Skills:

• You truly enjoy leading project teams, working with technology, and solving business problems in innovative ways.
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within an agile environment and with technical teams.
• You are a self-starter with the ability to overcome obstacles and deliver consistent results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and timely in conveying information related to key project deliverables and risks. C1 or better English Fluency
• Strong understanding and application of the full life cycle of project management principles, concepts, practices, standards, and industry best practices. 
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to develop requirements, document business processes and workflows, and prioritize stakeholder needs against overall program goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build consensus across all teams and levels
• Effective executive functioning and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Cybersecurity
• Project Management Certifications (PMP or Agile/SCRUM)
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
