Software Engineering Manager, Reliability Engineering

You Will:

• Be responsible for working with cross-functional product partners and uplevel Reliability
• More hands on involvement with production and understanding key trends and insights
• Be responsible for building production guardrails for services to use & scale reliably.
• Care deeply about production health
• Report to the Director of Reliability Engineering

You Have:

• Experience building and growing a strong team.
• Hands on coding experience
• Knowledge of systems at scale and large-scale distributed infrastructure.
• 3+ years in engineering management.
• Customer, team, and quality oriented skills and like getting things done.
• Assisted engineering teams on scalable design and implementation of their services in respect to infrastructure tiers such as orchestration and service discovery.
• Experience running SRE teams is a plus

You Are:

• A leader: you can build and lead teams and creating a culture of problem solving through large scale engineering.
• Hands-On-Keyboard: in addition to being a leader, you have strong technical skills and can lead your team to achieve the team's objectives.
• A planner: You are adept at project management skills and strategic planning through roadmaps and well scoped delivery plans.

This role is Hybrid, requiring three days per week in our San Mateo headquarters.
