About The Role
The ATS team is a brand new team currently responsible for building and maintaining Rippling’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This is a critical systems to recruit and employees while remaining compliant with state laws. Both in-house and third-party integrations are supported which let customers choose what works best for them. Our goal is to provide the best customer experience, reduce manual work using automation, and provide useful reports to take action. We are a small team working on multiple new product initiatives and growing quickly.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will own the architecture, direction, design, development of new product initiatives, and will work with, guide, and grow a talented pool of some of the world’s best engineers. Staff Engineers influence teams outside of their own organization and deliver results that move the needle at the organizational level and impact company-wide goals.
What You'll Do:

Develop high quality software with attention to detail

Work on complex engineering problems.

Have clear ownership over your projects.

Work directly with partner teams and end-users to help Rippling continually differentiate itself via better products and technology
Qualifications:

Strong CS fundamentals
-
7+ years of professional work experience
-
Experience building a large-scale cloud-based application
-
You care about product ownership and solving problems for our customers.

You’re passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact.
Additional Information:
This role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. US-based employees located in the below markets may expect offers in the below ranges for this role.
New York City: $210,000 - $245,000
A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above based on these considerations.
