About The Role
Core Product Platform is the foundation of Rippling Unity. Supergroups allows different products to define rules to apply to different groups of employees based on attributes about that employee. This project creates that abstraction and provides teams with the access to these groups while hiding away all of the complexities behind the querying, filtering, rules engine, and caching.
This is a unique opportunity to work on both product and platform layers at the same time. We obsess over the scalability and extensibility of platform solutions, ensuring that solutions will meet the needs across the breadth of Rippling's product suite, along with the applications of tomorrow. Supergroups is a high-visibility team that collaborates closely with many product and engineering teams across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement highly scalable and extendable platform solutions.
- Build custom programming languages within the Rippling Platform.
- Create data platforms, data lakes, and data ingestion systems that work at scale.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional work experience.
- Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in building projects with good abstractions and architecture.
- Comfortable at developing scalable and extendable core services used in many products.
Additional Information:
This role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. The salary for US-based employees located in the below markets may expect offers in the below ranges for this role.
New York City: $210000 - $245,000/year
A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above based on these considerations.
