About The Role:
We’re looking for great frontend founding engineers to join a team building a new product in the security and compliance space. You will be primarily responsible for building and scaling multiple areas of frontend development across both product and platform UI. This is high ownership, impact, and visibility role in building a product that will create a step change in Rippling’s growth.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of JS fundamentals and 7+ years of experience in frontend engineering roles. We use React, TypeScript, and JavaScript on the frontend.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (especially ES6+), React, HTML, CSS, and unit and integrations testing frameworks.
- Understanding of design patterns in JavaScript and knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in unstructured environments and enjoy identifying big problems in addition to solving them
- Strong product intuition: you understand what makes a product great and can iterate on improvements quickly
What You’ll Do:
- Produce quality software that is shipped incrementally and continually at a high velocity
- Have clear ownership over various parts of the product
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, PMs, and fellow engineers to plan features to help bring a high-quality product to market
- Interact with early customers and support them in being successful with the new product
- Provide thoughtful feedback to your peers, and benefit from strong mentorship yourself
