We’re currently looking for:
Responsibilities:
-Use ticketing system to create, update and resolve tickets
-Troubleshoot network, server and storage issues
-Installation and maintenance of network, server, and storage equipment
-Maintain detailed data center documentation
-Strict adherence to RingCentral change management policies and procedures
-Interact with onsite and remote vendors for hardware replacement, delivery and diagnostics
-Onsite off-peak hours maintenance will be required
-Participate in on-call rotation
-Some travel is required
Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience working in a production data center environment
-Ability to rack, build, cable network, server and storage equipment
-Familiar with network cabling standards and transceivers
-Basic knowledge of server hardware components
-Familiar with power budget calculations and power balancing
-Understands data center design in regards to airflow (hot & cold aisle containment)
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Experience with data center logistics, asset management and DCIM tools
-Hands-on experience with one or more of the following hardware platforms is an asset (Dell, Cisco, HP, NetApp, Juniper)
