ABOUT THE ROLE:

At Rightway, we're inviting a seasoned DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to play a critical role on our vibrant team. This is more than a job; it's a chance to build applications that transform lives and optimize the US Healthcare system. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Construct a resilient, streamlined, and secure production cloud container environment for the seamless operation of the Rightway platform
  • Establish guidelines and best practices for managing infrastructure as code
  • Develop advanced tooling and methodologies to ensure effective system oversight, becoming the go-to expert for managing and supporting systems at scale
  • Inspire teams and developers to build robust, scalable, and efficient systems
  • Lead the construction of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to fast-track feature delivery
  • Design and conduct performance testing scripts, analyze results, and propose improvements

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Proven experience in creating scalable, resilient systems and problem-solving across various technologies
  • Proficiency in building cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code, ideally with Terraform and AWS
  • Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools
  • Adept at leveraging DevOps techniques and practices like CICD, test automation, and build automation to speed up feature delivery to production environments
  • Collaborative, open-minded, and willing to innovate
  • Able to drive results independently and stay self-motivated

EXTRA CREDIT:

  • Proficiency with APM tools such as DataDog, New Relic, AppDynamics
  • Experience in troubleshooting and evaluating database performance issues
  • Familiarity with Ruby, Node, React, and React Native-based applications
  • Experience with Full Stack application development, including Node and GraphQL or REST API development

BASE SALARY: $145,000- $185,000
