DUTIES: Design technical specifications and use up-to-date technologies to improve the data infrastructure. Support and extend the data platform that supports our data pipelines and enables other teams to deploy new pipelines. Participate in the on-call rotation for incidents that occur in the data pipeline. Produce quality codes using python and pyspark to process data from a variety of sources to create datasets of healthcare providers, locations, and insurances. Implement new linters and other tools to help maintain the quality of Ribbon Health’s codes. Document and implement tests for code changes.
LOCATION: New York, NY (allows periodic telecommuting from anywhere within the New York City metropolitan area)
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field and six (6) months of experience as a Software Engineer or related position. Must possess experience with Python, Pyspark, Apache Airflow, and Spark; utilizing programming languages to process data and create datasets; building and managing ETL data pipelines to power machine learning models and APIs; developing interactive visualization dashboards with Dash; and problem-solving data pipeline issues.

The base salary range for this role is between $139,500 - $150,000. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
