Rhombus is looking for a Developer Support Engineer who will play a critical role in enhancing our developer relations and ensuring the success of external integration projects. This position requires a versatile full-stack developer capable of creating comprehensive developer resources, providing high-level technical support, and actively engaging in hands-on problem solving to streamline and support integrations of our platform.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain comprehensive developer documentation and tools that facilitate easy integration and use of Rhombus APIs. 
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance to developers and partner engineering teams, helping troubleshoot and resolve issues during integration projects. 
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to enhance API functionalities and ensure our offerings meet the evolving needs of developers and enterprise clients. 
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements that improve developer experiences and platform robustness. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the usage and performance of API endpoints, recommending improvements based on trends and feedback from developers. 

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Proven full-stack development experience with a strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies. 
  • Solid experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL documentation tools, and modern programming languages such as Typescript and React Native. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for explaining complex technical details to a non-technical audience. 
This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA.

Compensation 
Base Salary: $90,000-$115,000

Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
