As a (Senior) Project Lead (f/m/d) at Chimera Entertainment, you will be at the helm of creating high-quality, visually appealing games. We boast an experienced, international, and flexible team of over 45 people who work with dedication under leadership that champions transparency and sustainability.

Your mission is leading one of our projects from inception through to a successful launch and beyond. You will be central to the project, a pillar supporting the team and ensuring the highest quality in game development. We are open to candidates ranging from regular to senior levels, who harbor a love for the craft of game production and are eager to work with us in Munich, collaborating closely with our production team, clients, and senior management.
  • Leadership: Lead a game development team throughout all project phases, from the initial concept to release and live operations.
  • Planning: Plan and schedule the project while managing production risks.
  • Operations: Oversee daily development operations, catering to the team’s needs and organizing productive meetings.
  • Communication & stakeholder management: Serve as the central communication hub, ensuring smooth workflows within the team and effective stakeholder management, including liaisons with clients, partners, and other departments.
  • Ownership: Take full ownership of the project, assuming responsibility for the team, timeline, budget, and the successful delivery of the project.
  • Reporting: Regular collaboration and reporting to the senior management, keeping them abreast of project developments.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of related professional experience in the games industry. 
  • Knowledge: A deep understanding of all the relevant phases of game development and broad knowledge of project management tools and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
  • Skills: Excellent planning, communication, and presentation skills, adept at steering the team and interfacing with clients and stakeholders.
  • Team Player: An individual open to working within a larger production team, guiding juniors, sharing with peers, and dedicated to enhancing company standards.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Location: Based in Munich, or willing to relocate,valuing personal interaction with the team. Individual hybrid working setups are possible.
  • Strategic thinking: Have a mind for the big picture and have the ability to think across projects on a company level and take actions to collaborate with others in such fashion
  • A strong track record of released games.
  • Experience working with international publishing partner and/or self-publishing a game.
