LexisNexis Risk Solution is currently seeking a lead Software Engineer to be part of a friendly, forward thinking collaborative team. This role would suit an experience engineer looking for the opportunity to lead a team with versatile skills and grow along side.

Software Engineer leads team working in Healthcare domain and grooms and is closely involved with releases and development. Helps with hiring, budgets and is involved architecture and mentoring team. Works with development teams and ensures the best practices are adhered to in areas such as unit and integration testing, CI/CD, documentation, security, and software design principals.

This position requires an highly experienced engineer handles team and communications. Ability to review work on individual pieces of code and solve problems including the design and program flow utilizing effective coding techniques and rigorous unit testing. In addition, the ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment is essential, as is the ability to mentor and hire the developers when needed.

What we are looking for:

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Major

Requirements:

• Strong hold on Data Manipulation Language, ETL concepts.
• Strong proficiency with data manipulation language (including but not limited to SQL and/or MySQL) including optimization techniques, Unix.
• Must have adequate knowledge on - PreData processing, Facts and Dimension, Data Analytics, Data Profiling using Python or Cloud.
• Prior experience on Cloud in must (preferred Azure) tools like – Databricks, Data Factory, Airflow.
• Prefer to have prior Power BI or equivalent visualization tool.
• Good to have on prior hands-on Spark.
• Expected knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  Good Problem Solving and Requirement understanding skills as well as a positive attitude, ability, and desires to learn new processes and technologies.
• Successfully implement end to end development and help with Code Reviews, Best practices.
• Understands basic finance terminologies for budget, cost perspectives.
• Great Presentation skills, Fluent oral and written communications skills.
• Be a Good Mentor and shows leadership skills with profound attitude.
