About our Team
This team work directly with Product Consultants using complex data solutions to optimize our Batch products to meet customer needs.
 

About the Role
You will craft complex Data Solutions that are built in an ETL tool using Pentaho. Our Data Integration is deployed in a cloud computing environment. You will use JavaScript, RDBMS (currently MySQL), various file formats including comma delimited and flat text files, and several
file transfer protocols.
 

Responsibilities

• Participating in the Full lifecycle development process including design, development, testing and implementation of moderate complexity systems. Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple to moderate complexity.
• Interfacing with technical and non- technical personnel and/or team members to finalize requirements. Provides feedback on technical tasks of simple to moderate complexity.
• Developing basic to intermediate designs. Codes proficiently in the required language(s).
• Contributing to design, code and test reviews. Performs unit testing based upon test plans generated and reports results and recommendations.
• Performing support functions in validation cycle as required (i.e., test monitoring, debugging, problem resolutions, etc.). Providing meaningful feedback for schedule development on specific code segment and delivers a quality code deliverable as scheduled.

Requirements

• Have current experience with PENTAHO or other ETL tools as GIT Hub, JavaScript, MY SQL.
• Have the ability to effectively resolve issues/problems to reach a workable and successful solution. Possess the ability to learn, understand and develop large systems of simple-to-moderate complexity.
• Have the ability to provide detailed information and summarize
  to various levels of staff including management.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non technical staff.
