Data Analyst II

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst Level 2 to join our team, specializing in serving our insurance clients. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong proficiency in a host of different forms of presenting and explaining data to a host of different stakeholders. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with various partners both within and outside of the organization, with the ability to communicate about current issues impacting our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced data analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide actionable insights to our insurance clients.
• Design and implement ETL processes to integrate disparate data sets and automate data workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and external partners, to gather requirements, define data needs, and drive data-driven solutions.
• Proactively identify and communicate current issues, trends, and challenges affecting our insurance clients, offering recommendations and solutions to address them.
• Prepare and deliver clear and concise presentations and reports to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in insurance analytics and leverage this knowledge to enhance our offerings and services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Advanced use and working of key Microsoft items, including Power BI, Excel etc.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS), including data modeling and data integration techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret data, identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Knowledge of insurance industry concepts, products, and regulations.
