Internship Summary:

• 12 week internship program commitment
• Meet with the CEO to learn about Reltio's story to success and growth.
• Participate in learning sessions from leaders around the company to learn about how Reltio operates and gain useful skills to take with you in your career.
• Participate in intern cohort meetings with the other interns in the company to collaborate and build relationships. 
• Complete final internship project and present to Reltio's CEO staff

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Software Quality Engineering (QE) Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. The QE Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance processes while contributing to the testing efforts of our industry-leading products. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to learn from experienced QA professionals, work on real-world projects, and develop valuable skills in software testing and quality assurance.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Test Execution:

• Execute test cases and test scenarios to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of our software products.
• Conduct manual and automated testing across various layers of the application stack, including frontend, backend, and APIs.

 

1. Defect Reporting and Triage:

• Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues in our software products, using designated defect tracking tools.
• Assist in triaging and prioritizing defects based on severity, impact, and risk factors, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

 

1. Test Automation Support:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and test frameworks to support regression testing and continuous integration efforts.
• Participate in test automation activities, including script development, execution, and results analysis, under the guidance of experienced QA engineers.

 

1. Quality Assurance Processes:

• Learn and adhere to established quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices to ensure the reliability and scalability of our software products.
• Collaborate with QA team members to review test cases, test plans, and test strategies, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

 

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test results, and testing activities, ensuring traceability and accountability throughout the testing process.
• Generate test reports and communicate testing progress, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams as needed.

 

Requirements:

 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A strong interest in software testing, quality assurance, and understanding software development methodologies.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, techniques, and tools.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Availability to work full-time or part-time during the internship period.
