Performance Engineering Team Description

As part of this team, you will have an unique opportunity to understand Reltio application stack from front
end layer to database layer, monitor, debug and fix issues to make sure that all the Reltio customers gets
best possible experience. Also this engineering team is the one closet to customer which provides view of
our different customers how they are implementing their data management solutions on top of our robust
platform.

Responsibilities

● Vigilantly monitor and improve performance.
● Find opportunities for continuous improvements to our system.
● Continuously look for ways to optimize and streamline the Reltio Platform layer to facilitate a
seamless implementation experience for our customers.
● First and foremost, you’ll be building highly scalable and reliable platform services and
components that create the foundation of the core Reltio Platform architecture.
● Planning, designing, and building effective solutions to support a rapidly-growing business at a
massive scale.
● Developing and implementing strong algorithms/techniques for solving problems in a
high-volume, high-availability environment.
● Pushing the envelope on what's possible and applying pragmatic approaches to building
sustainable solutions.

Required Skills

● 5+ years developing large-scale enterprise systems
● 1+ year development experience in SaaS technologies
● Experience in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and
complexity analysis
● Experience with web UI development with JavaScript frameworks. Preferred React experience
● Experience debugging server-side Java applications including troubleshooting logs, thread
dumps, and connectivity issues
● Working knowledge of scalable and distributed data systems using distributed file systems, Java,
and cloud technology
● Excellent communication skills
● BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills

● Experience with big data technologies (ex. Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark) is a plus
● Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, BigTable, or CosmosDB preferred), distributed
indexes is a plus
● Understanding of performance and profiling techniques of complex systems is a plus
● Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and distributed/scalable architectures is a plus
