About the Team:  

The Program Management team at Relativity Space serve as technical liaisons across the company – driving the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), enabling cross functional decision making, ensuring effective communications, and driving prioritization of major company initiatives.

We are responsible for establishing and guiding a product centric operating model, which takes many forms such as spearheading organizational development efforts, designing scalable frameworks for communicating technical information, and establishing forums to accelerate cross-functional decision making.

We are hiring a Project Manager to drive the development of tools and processes that ensure critical company data is structured, organized, and categorized in an effective and usable way. Successful candidates in this role will act as technical and strategic liaisons to critical partner teams and promote & prioritize the needs of their key stakeholders ensuring regular value delivery. They will serve as a conduit between teams to break down technical communication barriers & improve the speed of decision making.

About the Role: 

  • Translate company strategy and business objectives into clear, concrete functional requirements to ensure alignment and transparency for stakeholders from across the enterprise
  • Act as a representative for products throughout the development lifecycle to ensure outputs meet stakeholder needs, participating in and leading key agile meetings, and resolving scope and technical conflicts
  • Apply a data-driven approach to product design, incorporating user feedback and analytics into the development process
  • Identify and coordinate the interdependencies among projects and/or workstreams
  • Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track the progress and impact of critical initiatives
  • Enhance product and workflow documentation across the company to encourage knowledge sharing and ease of locating mission critical and up-to-date information
  • Continually evaluate and enhance operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, streamlining workflows, and architecting new integrated solutions
  • Look around corners to determine how incremental product enhancements will deliver scalable improvements
  • Live and breathe a growth mindset by learning various technical aspects of our business

About You:  

  • BS degree or greater in an engineering field
  • 2+ years of working experience in a technical role

Nice to haves but not required:  

  • 4+ years of working experiences
  • Strong project, program, or product management fundamentals
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems, make data-informed decision, and design robust, scalable solutions
  • Strong executive presence, including ability to drive clarity and action across multiple levels within the company
  • Ability to understand and communicate dependencies and other technical information across a complex project
  • Hands on experience with hardware product development
  • Proven experience in product management, with the ability to lead a product from idea to launch
  • Experience and measurable evidence of solving ambiguous problems, including the introduction of new tools and processes
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Expert in Microsoft tech stack
