Data Scientist | Red Digital

We are looking to hire Data Scientists to join our client services division, Red Digital.

You’ll be using data signals from our partners and our marketing platforms to to craft models that drive marketing performance. You will be working with a cross-functional group of business analysts, engineers, and data professionals. We are all about teamwork, accountability, innovation, and a customer-first approach. What You'll Do

• Work closely with business stakeholders to find new opportunities and leverage our data to drive outcomes for our partners.
• Provide analytical support to the business teams in areas such as marketing analytics, experiment analysis, opportunity sizing, and data capture/usage.
• Pitch and present to senior leaders and stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to drive adoption and understanding of offerings and capabilities.
• Help build a positive culture across technical and business teams.
• Participate in the broader data science community within RV on the design and execution of the data science projects, especially when relevant to expertise.
• Help create and promote an inclusive environment where team members feel comfortable and empowered.
• Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests and other statistical experiments to inform decisions and improve performance in areas such as marketing strategies, product development, and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ yrs of professional experience in a data science role with an MS or PhD in STEM with a focus in computer science, ML, statistical modeling, or optimization, OR 3-5 years of professional experience in a data science role.
• Bias to action, with a strong sense of execution and someone who tries to unblock themselves. Proactive communicator. 
• Experience with end-to-end model development, deployment, and monitoring workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and experience working in Databricks.
• Ability to methodically understand business context, define value propositions, and formulate and solve complex data science problems with minor guidance from technical leaders.
• Ability to clearly articulate the “why” behind proposed data science solutions to the non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with marketing-specific data science challenges, such as media measurement and budgeting, customer segmentation, product recommendation, or lifetime value modeling
• Strong foundation in statistical principles and the application of methods for experimental design and analysis, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
• Ability to own key deliverables and use problem solving to deliver projects on time and iterate when justified by potential, incremental value.
• Ability to communicate their project status, timeline, and technical results to broad audiences.
• Experience participating in scoping data science projects, and owning their own execution.
• Experience developing skills specific to a specialization or expertise through research skills like literature reviews and communication of findings

Compensation

• Cash Compensation Range: $80,000-$100,000
