Software Engineer, Server Infrastructure

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Games Server team, to increase reliability and build out quality-of-life features for our server infrastructure!

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: 

• Design, build, implement and maintain server infrastructure via infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
• Integrate with our build and release pipelines, and improve observability and resilience in our service environments
• Work autonomously, solving technical design and development problems

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience working with IaC tooling in a cloud environment (i.e. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.) 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous development environments
• A constant desire to learn, improve, and help others improve

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:   

• Experience writing production distributed systems or cloud services
• Experience with the .NET platform
• Experience with containerization, orchestration tooling (Docker, Kubernetes in any cloud environment, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with non-relational database/storage technology (i.e. NoSQL, blob storage, etc.)

COMPANY INFO TO KNOW: 

The base pay range for this position is $125,000-170,000 per year; however, the base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, location, skills, and experience. Stock options and, in some cases, a sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package.
