About you: 

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Lead Engineer - Avatars to join our growing team! With a passion for gaming technology and expertise in high-level game development. You'll take charge of our advanced avatar system, shaping its future from concept to execution. By leading a talented multidisciplinary team and collaborating with key stakeholders, you'll ensure our avatar system not only meets artistic and technical standards but also excels in personalization and performance across all platforms.

Your daily adventures will include:

• Direct technical development: You will participate in hands-on coding and lead the technical advancement and implementation of our next-generation avatar system
• Implement vision into technology: Transform conceptual and visual designs into a flexible, high-performing, and future-proof avatar system.
• Collaborate effectively: Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the technical execution aligns seamlessly with both the artistic vision and the product roadmap.
• Lead and inspire: Your leadership will steer a multidisciplinary team towards creating an avatar system that is visually stunning, deeply personalized, and performs excellently across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.

What you bring:

• Experience in AA/AAA games: You have worked on AA/AAA games and were deeply involved in building the character system for those games.
• Deep generalist knowledge: You possess extensive generalist knowledge of game creation, including a deep understanding of at least one game engine, proficiency in a programming language (e.g., C#), experience with cross-platform development, and knowledge of graphics processes and animation.
• Leadership experience: You have led a multidisciplinary team of engineers and artists.
  
  

As a bonus, it would be awesome if you:

• Have good knowledge of programmatic 3D processing.
• Have a good understanding of the NodeJS/web stack.
• Have worked in a startup or scaleup before.
