You will join our REC department

As our new Lead Engineer - Bridges & Civils you will be part of a world-class, innovation-driven engineering design center owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and is based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a center for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• As a lead member of the bridge team you will be responsible for:
• Carrying out the design and review of the work of Asst Engineer / Design engineers and CAD technicians in the team and maintaining the quality of deliverables,
• Overseeing and troubleshooting the work of bridge design, guiding Assistant Engineers / Design Engineers in carrying out the design and preparation of the drawings.
• coordination with the design team for project planning/preparation of schedule/WBS and delivering projects to time and budget,
• should take initiatives to develop the design ability of the Assistant Engineers / Design engineers and improve the quality of delivery of the team as a whole,
•  mentoring and supervising asst. Engineers/ Design Engineers and provide inputs to HoD/Technical manager for the continued development of the staff in the team

•  We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:

    BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech in Structures would be desirable.

• Should have 10-14 years of experience in Bridge design. Knowledge of design codes like Euro code/DMRB/AASHTO/any other international standards would be desirable,
• knowledge of understanding of the analysis and design principles of bridge design,
• have hands-on experience in using any of the bridge design software (LUSAS/MIDAS/STAAD Pro etc),
• knowledge of other related software like RM Bridge etc. would be desirable,
• should have knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/Micro station and ensure drawings are prepared in accordance with CAD standards, and internationally recognized standard formats in addition to technical/functional acumen, he should have good communication skills and should be able to present their work.
• Should be a good team member and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for the timely delivery of project

Qualifications

Qualification: Bachelors in Civil BTech /Masters in Structures MTech

Mandatory Skills Requires: Design of Bridges, tunnels, ports & marine structures. Assessment of existing bridges. Experience of working with Euro code and DMRB standards. Preference will be given to someone having experience on Swedish projects.   

Software Skills: Sofistick, Lusaas, Midaas

Experience Required - 10-14 Years
