Product Support Engineer (USA EST Hours)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for our products during USA EST hours (Eastern Standard Time). This role requires a strong understanding of software applications, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work outside of regular business hours.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for our products during USA EST hours (Eastern Standard Time)
* Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues via phone, email, and chat
* Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues
* Develop and maintain technical knowledge base articles
* Stay up-to-date with product updates and new releases
* Continuously improving product support processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Diploma, Bachelors or equivalent (BCA) in any tech field
* 3+ years of experience in product support or related roles
* Familiarity with industry-standard technologies and tools.
* Strong knowledge of software applications and troubleshooting techniques
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Willingness to work USA EST hours (Eastern Standard Time)
* Ability to scan log files, understand monitoring data and problem solving skills are important.
Nice to Have:
* Knowledge of database concepts (SQL, MySQL)
* Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA)
* Customer Service skills would be good to have
* Certification in customer support or related field
Flexibility for occasional travel to different offices or events is essential to fulfill the duties of this role. This may include attending meetings, conferences, or training sessions, as well as collaborating with team members or partners in various locations. While travel requirements may vary, candidates should be prepared to engage in occasional travel as needed to support business objectives and foster professional relationships.
